Eagle Syndrome – case report

Abstract

The authors describe the case of 43-year-old male, with cervical pain in whom im aging with CT conclusively esta blished the diagnosis of Eagle Syndrome. Eagle Syndrome occurs due to elongation of the styloid process or calcifi cation of the stylohyoid ligament, which then may prod uce a pain in the neck. Diagnostic problems and methods of trea tment are discu ssed.
