Early relationships — a neglected area. The “Green Houses” as a chance for restoration.

Abstract
The paper — written from a very personal perspective — describes, from the psychoanalytic point of view, the importance of a the baby’s earliest relalations (immediately preceding and following just before the birth and just after it) with its mother, the importance for a the child’s future development. The author bases her approach on the ideas of three researchers and practictioners — Frans Veldman, Esther Bick and Françoise Dolto — are described. The author paper presents some several examples of therapeutic interventions which have good influence on a the mother and her child. She The author describes also the concept introduces the idea of the Green Houses which exist in France and in which a child may find great support for his/her further development — beyond the structures of the national health services.
