Ecological Aspect in the Concept of Urban Acupuncture

Abstract
The article deals with contemporary social-ecological concept of urban acupuncture, which proposes small-scale low-cost catalyzing interventions for solving entrenched social and ecological problems of urban environment and changing the wider urban contexts. The work introduces the above-mentioned concept highlighting and illustrating its ecological aspect using the examples designed and implemented in different urban spaces by the French landscape architecture company Wagon Landscaping.
