ECOLOGICAL FORMALIZATION OF IMPACT DIRECTIONS OF PHOSPHORITE RAW MATERIALS PROCESSING WASTE

Abstract
Purpose. To study environmental problems of extraction and processing of phosphorite raw materials. Special atten- tion has been paid to the use of phosphate raw materials in the chemical industry. Thus, the propose of study was for- malization of the environmental impact of waste processing of phosphorite raw materials, including phosphogypsum influence on ecosystem. Methodology. The study has been based on biochemical formalization of the influence of phosphogypsum as a raw material resource on ecosystem components through the system analysis method. Results. The main directions of the influence of the process of production of phosphate fertilizers on the environment have been determined. The process of phosphogypsum technogenic impact as a large-scale waste of chemical production on the environment in traditional spheres of its use and in alternative technological solutions have been formalized within the framework of the concept of ecological safety of waste management. Originality. The model of the influence of the phosphogypsum use process as a secondary resource in environmental protection technologies has been developed and the environmental effect has been determined from the biochemical direction of application of phosphogypsum and materials based on it. Practical value. In the process of biochemical transformation of toxic compounds under condi- tions of development of a biogenic component on a phosphogypsum support medium, a long-lasting ecological effect can be achieved, such release of useful biogenic components with their subsequent utilization in agriculture (for exam- ple, bio-sulfur and phosphorus compounds) and the fixation of toxic substances with the restriction of their routes to terrestrial ecosystems.
