ECOLOGICAL SAFETY: DIRECTIONS TO REDUCE THE MINING ENTERPRISES NEGATIVE IMPACTS ON NATURAL ECOSYSTEMS

Abstract

One of the elements of the safety of the functioning of mining enterprises, environmental safety is increasingly becoming. At the same time, it should be noted that within the ecological safety it is possible to emphasize the growing importance of preserving natural ecosystems as a factor of the planet’s existence as a whole. In recent years, the importance of such issues has been confi rmed by the increasing pressure on the extraction and use of coal as an energy resource after the signing of the Paris Agreements. The defi nition of a global environmental policy that contributes to increasing the complexity of measures to conserve ecosystems in the regions of mining is one of the most urgent problems at the present time and in the future. The article highlights important directions of ecological and economic transformations for Russia in the framework of the entire economy, at the macro level, contributing to the conservation of ecosystems and ensuring environmental security in general. The article summarizes that for the conservation of biodiversity, two groups of activities are most common: direct regulation and economic stimulation. The main directions of solving problems of biodiversity conservation are considered.
