Economic Intelligence and its Role in Enhancing the Competitiveness of Economies and States: A Reading in the Japanese Experience.

Abstract
This study aims to illustrate the role played by the economic intelligence in reinforcing the competitiveness of economies and countries. To achieve the above objective the authors conducted a descriptive and analytical study of the Japanese experience in the field of economic intelligence, through the following points: emergence of economic intelligence in Japan, his characteristics, the actors and the role of economic intelligence in reinforcing the competitiveness of Japanese economy. At the end, the results of the study proved the effectiveness of the Japanese economic intelligence model, with the recommendation that more studies and researches should be done to find out secrets of excellence and success of the Japanese experiment.
