ECONOMIC SECURITY: ESSENCE AND MAIN WAYS OF ENSURING

Abstract
Problem setting. In the conditions of the systemic crisis of the national economy, the problem of economic security of Ukraine becomes more important and acuteness. Economic security is the most important component of the structure of national security. It becomes the foundation that, for the most part, predetermines the essence of the state as the subject of world economic relations that is capable to provide the vital activity of its own population, as well as the prospects for its existence and development. It is virtually impossible to solve any task that faces Ukrainian society, either internationally or internally without its provision. Target of research. The purpose of this work is the theoretical and methodological analysis of Ukraine’s economic security. To achieve this goal it is necessary to solve interrelated tasks: to analyze different interpretations of the concept of “economic security” on the basis of its socio-philosophical analysis, to identify the main directions of ensuring the economic security of society. Analysis of recent researches and publications. In modern scientific literature the issues of economic security as a component of national security are the most important and actively discussed (Z. O. Adamov, B. F. Baid, I. B.Galyuk, V. Yu. Yedinak, A. D.Kalko, Yu. M.Kushnirchuk, V. P. Pryhodko, V. S. Sidak, L. S. Shevchenko, O. G.Yakimenko, etc.). Article’s main body. It is necessary to have a clear theoretical idea of the essence of ensuring economic security for successful solution of the tasks . Consideration of this issue should be begining with the analysis of the concept of “safety”. According to many researchers’ opinions, economic security occupies a special place in the structure of national security and represents as the complex social and state phenomenon. The article reveals the essence and correlation of the concepts of “security”, “economic security”, “national security”. The features of various theoretical and methodological approaches to the analysis of the concepts “economic security” have been considered. The place and role of economic security in the system of national security of modern Ukraine has been analyzed. The indicators of economic security also have been considered. The mechanism of ensuring the economic security has been disclosed in this article. Conclusions and prospects for development. The discovery of the conceptual foundations of the concept of “economic security” allows us to reveal the essence of this phenomenon. Economic security is a state of the economic system that enables it to develop dynamically and effectively, to solve social problems successfully, and at the same time the state has the opportunity to develop and implement an independent economic policy.
