ECONOMICAL CONSCIOUSNESS AND VALUE ORIENTATIONS OF THE HIGHER EDUCATION ESTABLISHMENTS GRADUATES OF LATVIAN REGION

Abstract
The aim of this research is to evaluate the situation (level and character) of economical consciousness and value orientations of professional programme graduates of institutes of higher education in Latgale region of Latvia. The subject of the article is the attitude of professional programmes graduates of institutes of higher education of one Latvia region towards wealth and means to its achievement, and also their evaluation of the role of different property forms in the growth of economic effectiveness. The satisfaction of youth by economic situation and their choice of actions in the labour market in the case of problems with employment are considered. The evaluation of personal resources, interests, abilities and qualification of university graduates, the degree of their orientation on personal powers and initiative, confidence in their future, is given. On the basis of the research made economical interests of professional programmes graduates of institutes of higher education and motivations formed by these interests and aims of their practical economic behaviour according to definite types of economical consciousness (thinking) are defined.
