EDITORIAL

Abstract
Dear Academicians and Researchers, The Journal of Higher Education and Science has begun its 8th year of publishing with the April Issue of 2018. Beginning its publication life in April 2011 with the purpose of contributing to the improvement of higher education, our journal has become one of the most prominent journals in the field of higher education with an increasing number of qualified papers published until now. In 2017, 65 papers in various topics including 57 original articles and 8 review articles contributed by different institutions were published by our journal. We are very content with the ever-growing interest in our journal. We continue to make applications for the prestigious indexes and databases. Additionally, I offer my heartfelt appreciation to our former Rector Prof. Dr. Mahmut Özer, to our administrators, to the authors and to the referees reviewing the papers for their great contribution towards making the Journal of Higher Education and Science what it is today.
