Abstract
The conservation of the environment and ecosystems has had repercussions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. At the beginning of the quarantine we have been able to witness some positive changes in nature, which compromised the flora and fauna; in turn, compulsory social immobilization helped to produce a considerable reduction in the percentages of contamination, which made it possible to breathe cleaner air in different areas, especially in the main cities, so that, with some modifications in our customs , it has been possible to improve the quality of life of all the beings that inhabit the planet. However, it is becoming increasingly clear that these changes were temporary, since now that we are gradually restoring our daily activities, the environmental crisis has returned and in several aspects it does so in an increased way. It seems that we are not aware of the consequences that we unleash, and we are once again heading for irreversible environmental deterioration.
