EDUCATION ACHIEVEMENTS OF PRIMARY SCHOOL PUPILS WORKING IN JOINT CLASSES SYSTEM

Abstract

The education system in joint classes is the area of Polish educational system is practically absent in the scientific debate, as well as in education administration activities, although it is in operation in about 20% of primary schools in Poland. This report analyses one aspect of this system, namely its efficiency. The author attempts to analyse the level of cognitive school achievements of 3rd grade pupils working in joint classes system. He refers to his research on the matter conducted in 1996-2016 concluding with some generalizations and demands for schooling practice.<br/><br/>
