EDUCATION OF CULTURAL PERSONALITY OF THE PERSON

Abstract
The article reveals the experience of the lyceum at Donetsk National University on the upbringing of the student’s cultural personality. Special attention of pedagogical science to education of cultural personality through its impact on the social structure, dynamics and motivation of social behaviour of people is emphasized. One of the conditions for the effective upbringing of a cultural personality is organization of cultural practices that are integrative in content and are aimed at the holistic development of the individual. Cultural practice changes reality, including the person and the society. Cultural practice allows a person to socialize, that is, to accumulate the necessary social experience. The use of cultural practices in order to educate the cultural personality of the lyceum student at the Lyceum at Donetsk National University, which was ahead of the mass practice of teaching and educating high school students in the 90s of the twentieth century, are analysed. Cultural practices form a tolerant, self-actualizing, self-sufficient personality with self-esteem, a high level of moral stamina. The club forms of education of the high school student’s personality are analysed: the club “Intelligent”, the international club “Blue Bird”, the Euroclub “Polyglot”. The club “Intellectual” was the meeting place of the lyceum students with outstanding people of our time – the heroes of Ukraine – famous scientists, doctors, representatives of business, art, sportsmen. The Blue Bird Club united the creative youth of the lyceum, who wrote poems, prose, staged performances, held exhibitions of their own drawings and paintings. The Polyglot Euroclub provided an opportunity for lyceum students to study 20 languages, conducted a regional polyglot tournament, published the Polyglot internet newspaper, and organized participation of lyceum students in the science-art-education international project.
