EDUCATIONAL SCHOOL EXCURSIONS: HISTORICAL EXPERIENCE OF THE PAST (THE END OF THE ХІХ CENTURY AND THE BEGINNING OF THE ХХ century)

Abstract
EDUCATIONAL SCHOOL EXCURSIONS: HISTORICAL EXPERIENCE OF THE PAST (THE END OF THE ХІХ CENTURY AND THE BEGINNING OF THE ХХ century) organized, therefore they did not receive distribution. More systematically, excursions began to be held already in the early twentieth century. This was facilitated by the introduction into the curriculum of a new subject – natural science. Excursions were one day and many days. During excursions children visited other cities and even countries. The state did not allocate funds for school excursions, so they were spent at the expense of students. The vast majority of excursions were conducted through the initiative of individual enthusiast teachers. A certain role in the development of excursion was made by the educational institutions of the Odessa Primary District. Helpful assistance in conducting excursions was provided by state institutions, officials, sports clubs, etc.
