Efekty generowane przez Fundusze Strukturalne w procesie rozwoju kraju i regionu (zarys problemu)

Abstract
The authors of the article drew attention to the effects generated by the absorption of EU funds in selected countries of the European Union and in the Polish economy and the Subcarpathian region. It was emphasized that these effects influence the macroeconomic variables, specifically in the agri-food sector and the development of changes in long term dimensions in the socio-economic environment of rural areas. The EU funds constitute therefore instruments stimulating and dynamizing structural transformation processes occurring in both the whole economy and its regions.
