Effect of Compost and Nitrogen Fertilizer on Basis of Morphological Characteristics of Citrus: Orange, Citrange and Sitromelo

Journal Title: International Journal of Farming and Allied Sciences - Year 2014, Vol 3, Issue 12

Abstract

Effect of compost on vegetative growth of citrus seedlings to Tuesday The experiment was a factorial design CRD the seedlings four replications in 2012 was conducted. Treatments consisted of different levels of organic matter (zero, 2.5, 5 and 7.5) of manure compost manufacturing industries Mazandaran wood and paper, and different levels of pure nitrogen from manure ammonium sulfate (zero, 20, 40 and 80 mg. kg) Was. The results showed that Maximum crown diameter interaction compost × Nitrogen concentration of 2.5 percent compost with 20 mg.kg of nitrogen in plants Sitromelo equivalent to 10.96 mm and concentration of 7.5 with 80% of the composting plant Citrange mg nitrogen equivalent of 8.85 mm was the highest. Most seedlings influenced by nitrogen concentrations above 40 mg.kg Citrange seedlings were equal to 118 cm. And the maximum and minimum number of leaves per plant, respectively, at a concentration of 5% composting rate Citrange 80 mg.kg Nitrogen concentration of 7.5% compost and 40 mg nitrogen equivalent to 45.50 and 23 was. Most of the orange tree leaves at a concentration of 7.5% compost and 80 mg.kg of nitrogen equal to 45.33 numbers were obtained.
