Effect of moving load on a cylindrical shell with an elastic filler

Abstract
The paper discusses the effect of a moving load on a ribbed cylindrical shell with an elastic filler. A solution to the problem of the action of moving loads on an infinitely long cylindrical shell supported along the outer surface by longitudinal stiffeners and containing an elastic inertial filler inside is found. The discreteness of the location of the ribs is taken into account by writing down the equations of motion of the beams for them with the subsequent satisfaction of the interface conditions. The effect of the number and stiffness of ribs on the distribution of shell displacements and contact pressure at the core boundary is shown.
