Effect of Part Selection Decision on the Performance of Additive Manufacturing
Journal Title: IOSR Journal of Mechanical and Civil Engineering (IOSR-JMCE) - Year 2018, Vol 15, Issue 2
Abstract
In this paper input data has been collected from the real existing system and proposed AMS simulation models are developed using C programming. The flow of job through the system managed with multi-level scheduling rules related to launching of job in to a system. The proposed simulation models are modeled for the existing system and optimum part selection rule is determined for the performance parameters such as Make Span, mean flow time, average part waiting time.

Closed form buckling analysis of thin rectangular plates
This paper presents closed form buckling analysis of rectangular thin plates. It minimizes the total potential energy functional with respect to deflection function and obtained the Euler-Bernoulli equation of equilibriu...
Cost, Time, And Quality factors: A case Study of The Rivers monorail Construction Project
Over time, several parameters have been employed to measure the success/failure of construction projects. However, the most common factors employed are Cost, Time and Quality. This research is a case study of the Rivers...
Simulation of Storm Surge Level at a Tidal Channel Due To Cyclone along the Bangladesh Coast
This study was conducted for simulation of storm surge level at a tidal channel due to cyclone along the Bangladesh coast. Bay of Bengal hydrodynamic model (BoB) developed by IWM (Institute of Water Modelling) using MIKE...
In-Process Machine Vision by Mono-Electron Image Acquisition and Analysis under Scale-Up Nano-Manufacturing Conditions
Manufacturing process automation have attained significant progress by the incorporation of AI and many other forms of machine vision technologies. In this paper, the stoichiometric dynamics relative to image acquisition...
Experimental Investigation to Assess the Performance of Desiccant Integrated Chilly Dryer
In many parts of India, hot and humid environmental conditions are present. In such an environment, the dry air is necessary for drying agricultural products. In this project work, an indirect forced convection desiccant...
