Efficacy Trial of Camouflage ProVector Nettys With Entobac D Against Aedes aegypti

Journal Title: IOSR Journal of Pharmacy and Biological Sciences (IOSR-JPBS) - Year 2017, Vol 12, Issue 6

Abstract

Aedes aegypti is an important vector of several arboviruses having significant impact on human populations on several continents. Increasing prevalence of pesticide resistance is of great concern to public health officials as is concern of environmental impact of pesticide spraying. A preliminary trial of a new pesticide, composed of a mix of Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis and deltamethrin pesticides combined with an attractant bait are discussed. A camouflage system is discussed which may have military application in protecting military and sportsmen, such as campers and fisherman.
