ЕКОНОМІКО-МАТЕМАТИЧНЕ МОДЕЛЮВАННЯ В ІНВЕСТИЦІЙНОЇ ДІЯЛЬНОСТІ СТРАХОВИКА З УРАХУВАННЯМ РИЗИКУ

Abstract
S.H. Yarmolenko. Еconomic and mathematical modelling in investment activity of an insurer with risk. Comprehensive investigation as for economic and mathematical models usage by the insurers in their investment activity is conducted in the given article. The example showing why modeling is considered to be the priority method in the analysis, evaluation and predicting in investment activity is given. The detailed analysis of other works of the scientists who studied the given problem is done. To get the economic efficiency from investment activity, the insurers must use the methods of economic and mathematical modeling. Exploitation of such methods will permit to identify adequately the possible volume of investment resources and to choose the optimum investment portfolio for a certain period, and also to calculate in advance its advantages and disadvantages and then, to realize the data of modeling. The notion “model” and namely its origin are explained. The determinations why any investment model is abstract and has different determine conditions are given. Like any other science and economy, any activity is based on certain axioms. The modeling, which is being investigated in the article, is not an exception. So the author gives the main axioms based on which the whole process of modeling should be done. For better understanding the determination of such process as “modeling” is given and several definitions of the given notion are proposed. The author developed and showed a simple process of modeling. The stages of modeling process and the way of model developing are shown. Like predicting and analysis in the other systems, in economic and mathematical modeling there are its own types of models based on which the process of modeling is being taken place. The author worked out the table that completely represents the main types of economic and mathematical models existing in theoretical economy nowadays. The types of economic and mathematical models that are used or can be used in practice are also given. The actuality of the given theme both for insurance companies and for other subjects of an entrepreneurship is proved. The conclusions concerning the performed work are given in the author’s scientific article. Key words: investment activity, modeling, economic and mathematical modeling, insurers, investment.
