Abstract
Shyian D.V. Factors forming production efficiency in cattle breeding. The article deals with the problem of forming efficiency in cattle breeding. The aim of this work is to study the impact of animal productivity on economic livestock production efficiency. Based on data analysis of farms in Kharkiv region a conclusion is made about a systematic loss in beef cattle industry. Loss ratio is found both in companies with low and high productivity of animals. Obtained regression equation between the level of animal productivity and financial results per cattle head makes it possible to establish that the average increase in productivity per head on 1 kg results in increased loss value of 14.2UAH per 1 head. In dairy farming there is a clearly discernible correlation between the intensity level and productivity of cows. It has also been found that there is a dependence of the obtained financial results on the animals’ productivity level. The greatest profit was received by the enterprises where cows’ productivity was the highest. Enterprises with the productivity level of one cow to 3000 kg the loss per head totaled 2130,2 UAH, enterprises with the productivity level of cows 5000,1-7000 kg the profits totaled 3830,9 UAH /head, in the group with cows’ productivity level of 9,000 kg – 12506,3 UAH. The profitability level was nonlinear dependence of the amount spent per head. Parabola equation made it possible to set up functional maximum. It is 9338 kg / head, at a given profitability level of 30,5 %. Also highlighted was the relationship between the concentration indexes of production and the level of cows’ productivity. It is concluded that the existing economic mechanism in dairy farming allows the enterprises with the highest intensity of production to have the highest productivity of animals and the amount of profit. This creates opportunities for further developments in the field using modern technologies and innovations application.
