ЕКСПЕРИМЕНТАЛЬНА ПЕРЕВІРКА ЕФЕКТИВНОСТІ НАВЧАННЯ МАЙБУТНІХ ПЕРЕКЛАДАЧІВ ПИСЬМОВОГО ПЕРЕКЛАДУ ІЗ ЗАСТОСУВАННЯМ ІНФОРМАЦІЙНО-КОМУНІКАЦІЙНИХ ТЕХНОЛОГІЙ

Abstract
The main modern translation market demands include, among others, developed skills in using a number of information and communication technologies, computer-assisted tools being at their top. Translation technologies have changed significantly the way translators work and the corresponding changes are to be introduced into the process of training future translators which requires developing corresponding methodologies of teaching. Purpose. Description of the results of the methodological experiment aimed to test the efficiency of the developed methodology of teaching graduate students translating English social and political texts into Ukrainian using information and communication technologies, namely computer-assisted tools. Methods. The present research is based on using the following methods: studying and analyzing scientific publications on methodological experiments, observing the process of training, conducting methodological experiment, interpreting the results of the methodological experiment with the help of the methods of mathematical statistics. Results. The experimental testing proved the efficiency of the methodology of teaching graduate students translating English social and political texts into Ukrainian using information and communication technologies as students’ average results obtained before and after the experimental teaching explicitly show a substantial increase in students’ proficiency in translating texts with the help of CAT-tools. Conclusion. The hypothesis preconceived at the very beginning of the study was confirmed. The equal efficiency of all t he developed variants of the methodology was approved with the help of methods of mathematical statistics.
