ELECTROENCEPHALOGRAPHIC CORRELATES OF NEUROTIC DISORDERS AMONG PERSONS DISPLACED FROM THE AREA OF COUNTER-TERRORISM OPERATION

Abstract

We have observed 110 persons displaced from the area of counter-terrorism operation suffering from neurotic disorders (basic group) and 40 people without neurotic disorders (control group) using the EEG. Detecting altered electrical rhythms were associated with dysfunction of limbic-reticular formation and correlate with the presence of neurotic disorders.
