Journal Title: Debiuty Naukowe Studentów Wyższej Szkoły Bankowej - Year 2016, Vol 16, Issue
Abstract
The development of e-commerce in Poland has resulted in a rising demand for services enabling payments for goods purchased online. Consumers’ needs in such a rapidly growing market vary greatly, which is why traditional forms of payment do not always meet the expectations of market participants. This situation has led to the development of new forms of payments that meet the challenges of the modern market. The aim of this article is to describe the mechanism of electronic payment aggregators and determine how often consumers use payment aggregators to make online purchases. The study is based on a survey of people who make online payments. The results indicate that the use of payment aggregators is a popular option for online purchases.
