Embedded Object Detection with Radar Echo Data by Means of Wavelet Analysis of MRA: Multi-Resolution Analysis
Journal Title: International Journal of Advanced Computer Science & Applications - Year 2011, Vol 2, Issue 9
Abstract
A method for embedded object detection with radar echo data by means of wavelet analysis of MRA: Multi-Resolution Analysis, in particular, three dimensional wavelet transformations is proposed. In order to improve embedded object detecting capability, not only one dimensional radar echo data but also three dimensional data are used. Through a comparison between one dimensional edge detection with Sobel operator and three dimensional wavelet transformation based edge detection, it is found that the proposed method is superior to the Sobel operator based method.

Differential Evolution based SHEPWM for Seven-Level Inverter with Non-Equal DC Sources
This paper presents the application of differential evolution algorithm to obtain optimal switching angles for a single-phase seven-level to improve AC voltage quality. The proposed inverter in this article is composed o...
THE BITWISE OPERATIONS RELATED TO A FAST SORTING ALGORITHM
In the work we discuss the benefit of using bitwise operations in programming. Some interesting examples in this respect have been shown. What is described in detail is an algorithm for sorting an integer array with the...
Architecture Aware Programming on Multi-Core Systems
In order to improve the processor performance, the response of the industry has been to increase the number of cores on the die. One salient feature of multi-core architectures is that they have a varying degree of shar...
Improved QO-STBC OFDM System Using Null Interference Elimination
The quasi-orthogonal space time block coding (QO-STBC) over orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) is investigated. Traditionally, QO-STBC does not achieve full diversity since the detection matrix of QO-STBC...
Exon_Intron Separation Using Amino Acids Groups Frenquency Repartition as Coding Technique
This paper presents a new coding technique based on amino acids repartition in chromosome. The signal generated with this coding technique constitutes, after treatment, a new way to separate between exons and introns in...
