Emotional intelligence as a mental status indicator

Abstract
The paper presents the results of an empirical study about the emotional intelligence and psychological states of students in socio-occupational professions. The gender differences of the indicators are determined. The results of the correlation analysis showed the diverse influence of the components of emotional intelligence on the indicators of mental state in men and women. The established negative tight and sufficient connections indicate that the higher the level of emotional intelligence, the lower the respondents will be indicators of anxiety, frustration, aggressiveness, rigidity. The prospects of the study are in the development of a socio-psychological program through the implementation of the unemployed emotional intelligence, which would facilitate their more successful employment.
