EMOTIONAL LEXIS, CHARACTERIZING A PERSON ON INTELLECTUAL CAPABILITIES IN RUSSIAN DIALECTS OF ODESSA REGION

Abstract
The article deals with characteristic features of intellectual abilities of the person in Russian resettlement dialects of Odessa region. The special place among Russian dialects is occupied by neighbor and long distance aboard Russian due to the island character. They save native dialect lexemes and borrowings from neighbor languages and dialects in the form of bright metaphorical names reflecting Russian immigrants’ language picture of the world. «The dictionary of the Russian dialects of Odessa region» becomes the main source of dialect lexicon. The article describes the synonymic and antonymic system of relations in dialecticisms of the group «Intellectual abilities of the person». The largest part of dialect lexemes are emotional — expressive creations, that is why we raise a question of correlation in categories «Emotionality» and «Expressivity». The metaphor is the basis of emotional and expressive lexemes. Dialect metaphor is distinguished with great figurativeness and high emotional assessment. Lexical and semantic groups of dialect lexemes concerning «Intellectual abilities of a person» are presented by native Russian lexemes and borrowed ones, among them Ukrainian, Bulgarian and Moldavian.
