Engagement of future teachers of fine arts to solving professionally-targeted tasks with the help of multimedia technologies

Abstract

This article is dedicated to the question of attraction of future teachers of fine arts to the solution of professionally-oriented tasks by means of multimedia technologies as a pedagogical condition for the formation of their visual culture. It is revealed that the phenomenon of “Multimedia” is multidimensional and is used in the field of technology, cultural studies and art studies. Multimedia means are defined as a set of audiovisual means of displaying information that is used to display educational content and to transfer educational information, as well as to automate education based on interactive software platforms. It has been determined that using means of multimedia technologies in the training of students in higher educational institutions influences significantly the process of formation of motivational, cognitive, aesthetic and measurement components of the visual culture of future teachers of fine arts. Professionally-oriented tasks are defined as a set of educational tasks that contain a complete problem solving cycle in their composition: the definition of the problem, the usage of acquired knowledge, the search for the necessary sources of scientific literature, the development of an algorithm for solving the proposed problem and self-esteem, orientation to self-improvement in the future profession. It has been revealed that before the solution of professionally-oriented tasks by means of multimedia technologies there should be provided interactive lectures and practical classes on the artistic and aesthetic specialty; practical classes with the usage of multimedia learning tools (watching educational videos, slideshows, plots; the usage of electronic textbooks, manuals, tests; the usage of project method) which will contribute to the expansion of the informational and educational basis of students. In order to form the visual culture of future teachers of fine arts, it is proposed to solve the following types of professionally oriented tasks: analytical, projective, game, tasks-drills, problem-tasks, tasks for organizing the activity of students, tasks for organizing individual, pair, and group forms of activity. It has been proved that the involvement of students in the solution of professionally-oriented tasks by means of multimedia technologies will affect the formation of all the components of the visual culture of the future teachers of fine arts in the structure, and therefore it is a necessary pedagogical condition for the formation of the specified construct.
