Engineering of Point Defects and Formation Mechanisms of PbTe–CdTe Solid Solutions
Journal Title: Фізика і хімія твердого тіла - Year 2016, Vol 17, Issue 3
Abstract
The crystal-quasichemical formulas were proposed in paper. There were obtain the dominant point defects of Pb1-xCdxТе solid solutions on the base of initial binary solutions PbТе and CdTe of the n- and р-type of conductivity. The dependence of defect concentrations, such as charge carriers and Hall’s concentration due composition of solid solutions were calculated.

Investigation of the Effect of the Electron-Beam Crucible Zone Melting of Metallurgical Silicon on Refining and Structure Formation of Ingots
The paper presents the results of studies obtained with the development of the technology of electron-beam crucible impregnation of metallurgical silicon. It is shown that refining of silicon from background and dopant i...
Optical Absorption of Chalcogenide Glass Ga2S3-La2S3 Doped with Erbium
The glasses of the La2S3-Er2S3-Ga2S3 system were synthesized from the melted samples which where quenched in to the cold 25% solution of NaCl. Their optical absorption spectra were studied in the range of 1.2–2.9 eV at 8...
Microstructure and Properties of AlCrCoNiCuFeх (х =0 – 2.0) High-Entropy Alloys
AlCrCoNiCuFeх (x values in molar ratio, x = 0; 0,5; 1,0; 2) high-entropy alloys were prepared using a vacuum arc melting method. The effects of Fe addition on microstructure and mechanical properties were investigated. T...
Study of Combustion Characteristics of Carbon Particles Clouds
High temperature heat and mass transfer and chemical kinetics are modeled in polydisperse cloud of coal particles taking into consideration reactions in pores and Stefan flow at the surface. Burning characteristics are c...
Energy of Substitution of Anions and Cations in Zinc and Cadmium Telluride
Energy substitution of cations and anions in ZnTe i CdTe by atoms from first and seventh group of the periodic table were calculated using the method of bonding orbitals. Based on the results conclusions about the most l...
