Abstract
Distinctions in philosophical discursive strategies are reflected on the characteristics of philosophical texts, which analysis requires various approaches, including linguistic approach. However, linguistic philosophy runs into the problem of «imperfection» of human language as an adequate mean of philosophical reflection. In this paper it was shown that English language for these purposes has the most optimum resources. For a linguistic research in general the discourse of philosophy represents the wide field of activity: uncertainty of terms, absence of the monotonous organization of the text, mixture of strict and deliquescent composite forms, blurring of terminological definitions, an implication of subtext, variety of genres, – each of these characteristics of the philosophical text makes closer both philosophical discourse and an art discourse. And as a result, the linguistic analysis of a philosophical discourse to some extent is possible. Linguistic resource of English is rather flexible to meet the requirements of a philosophical reasoning. Language of the English philosophy is more or less, than the other national languages, allocated with «imperfections» about which the logical philosophy told, It provides unique resources for the most exact transfer of a philosophical reflection. Modern philosophers of the other European countries often use stylistically neutral English and present inherently specific forms of English language as the features of philosophical style. The majority of the ideas of technology of philosophizing are available in books, which were written in English. Precisely English in the twentieth century became universal language of an intellectual discourse.
