ENHANCING THE EFFICIENCY OF FUNCTIONING OF THE INSTITUTIONAL STRUCTURE OF CONFECTIONERY SECTOR

Abstract

The impact of the economic crisis on the enterprises of the confectionery industry was analysed. Several options for the further development of small and medium enterprises are proposed based on the increase of efficiency of state functioning of institutional structure. It is shown that in order to manage the innovation activity of Ukrainian enterprises, it is necessary to change the management approaches in the institutional structure. It is necessary to develop research centres at enterprises, which in turn will affect the employment of the population, the quality of final products, and their competitiveness. The development of business incubators is one of the main factors supporting small and medium businesses.
