ENSURE HARMONIZATION OF EU STANDARDS IN THE CONSTRUCTION FIELD

Abstract
The article highlights the current issues related to the implementation of standards harmonization of construction products in the EU . It outlines the main features of specific legal regulation of harmonization of EU standards in the field of construction activity . The analysis of modern European legislation in the identified areas. Attention is drawn to the fact that the introduction of the New and Global approaches in the field of technical harmonization and standardization of construction products has created a qualitatively new preconditions for the development of European legislation in the construction industry. Now the EU established the technical regulation of the internal market system, based on the “New Approach Directives” and the “Global Approach Directives”. These Directives aimed at removing technical barriers to the free movement of goods and services within the European Union, through the common safety requirements for products and conformity assessment procedures. The main idea of the article is based on an understanding and application of the EU legislation related to the harmonization of standards in the field of construction activity , reduced the number of problems in adapting its positive aspects in the legislation of Ukraine and the opportunity to increase efficient use of building potential of Ukraine.
