Ensuring economic safety mechanism of the labor market

Abstract
The authors investigate the mechanisms of ensuring economic safety of the labor market. The article defines the meaning and characteristics of the concepts of "labor market" and "economically active population". Based on the work of modern economists, the essence of the problem of economic safety of the labor market is considered, and the components of ensuring the safety of the labor market are identified. Based on the statistical data, the author analyzed the current state of these components in Ukraine, in particular the situation in the labor market, the work of the State Employment Service.
