Environmental Issues and Challenges: An Indian Perspective

Abstract

Environment problems are depicted as issues within entire echo system developed from either be in the water soil, air, or the three components of the atmosphere. Environmental protection is a major problem in India to be worsened due to high density of population, and its size increased growth rate, which tends to expand and accelerate the human impacts on the natural resources. environmental degrade is not only leads to deteriorating natural conditions but also have an adverse effects on the sustainable development and effects on health of the people. The existing environmental laws seems to be ineffective and not in a controlling position, due to lack of enforcement, availability of resources, people participation, awareness on environmental education, and other technical problems. In India environmental degradation is becoming highly effected on nature. To over come these multiple issues and challenges, India should adopt some important sustainable actions that needs to address the numerous issues facing the country including environmental degradation in order to sustain its prospects, which leads to continued economic growth.
