EQUIDAD Y JUSTICIA EN LA EDUCACIÓN EN LÍNEA UN ESTUDIO CON ENFOQUE DE GÉNERO Y UBICACIÓN GEOGRÁFICA

Abstract
La educación en línea ha experimentado un rápido crecimiento en la última década, sin embargo, no está exenta de desafíos y consideraciones particulares, especialmente en términos de equidad y justicia educativa. Esta investigación se enfoca en identificar cómo las experiencias de educación en línea han impactado en la percepción de equidad y justicia en estudiantes de la Universidad Nacional de Chimborazo (UNACH). Con un enfoque de investigación mixto, se emplearon encuestas y entrevistas para evaluar la relación entre variables como accesibilidad, interacción con profesores, calidad de aprendizaje, equidad y justicia, y cómo están influenciadas por el género y la ubicación geográfica de los estudiantes. Al finalizar esta investigación se evidencia que la mayoría de los estudiantes consideran que su acceso a Internet fue más fácil durante la educación en línea, y que la interacción con profesores fue más efectiva en presencialidad. Respecto a la equidad y justicia, la mayoría de los estudiantes consideran que las experiencias educativas impactaron positivamente a estudiantes de diferentes condiciones socioeconómicas. En la fase correlacional, se aplicó la prueba Chi cuadrado, encontrándose correlaciones significativas entre la percepción de equidad y justicia y el sexo de los estudiantes y su ubicación geográfica. Los hallazgos sugieren que la educación en línea puede ser una herramienta transformadora para lograr una educación más equitativa y justa, especialmente si se consideran las particularidades de género y ubicación geográfica de los estudiantes.
