ESSENCE AND SPECIFICITY OF CORRECTIONAND PEDAGOGICAL LABOR DEFECTOL

Abstract
The article analyzes the problem of increasing the efficiency of professional training of defectologists. The author defines the meaning of the term «correctional and pedagogical work» and justifies the aesthetic essence of the work of the defectologist. The emphasis is placed on the fact that the peculiarity of the work of the defectologist puts special requirements to the pedagogical process itself and its result. On the basis of theoretical analysis, the functions of the aesthetic therapeutic competence of the defectologist are revealed, which reveal the importance of his work. The aesthetic aspect of the correctionalpedagogical technology of communicating the defectologist with children with developmental defects is considered.
