ESSENCE OF FORECASTING DEMAND OF POPULATION

Abstract
The article considers the essence of the concept of “forecasting” from the point of view of various sciences. The importance of economic forecasting for the development of entrepreneurship has been determined. The role of forecasting in the system of studying consumer demand is revealed. Traced the relationship of forecasting, planning and management in the enterprise. The importance of consumer research for the development of the enterprise has been determined. The necessity of introducing an effective forecasting system when studying the demand of the population has been substantiated.
