Estado Del Conocimiento De La Enseñanza Del Inglés En Instituciones De Educación Superior

Abstract

This article entitled "knowledge statements of English teaching in higher education institutions" has the purpose to review the difficulties found in teaching English in institutions of higher education. It is an analytical-documentary work due it was reviewed and analyzed bibliography that shows the problem already mentioned. It can be pointed out that the purpose was achieved because it checks out what has been the teaching of English in our teaching schools and what we have faced in the becoming of time. In the present research we have found several findings such as the absence of the teaching of English in several curricula programs of our teaching schools and the challenge faced by the kinder garden teacher in not having this training according to the educational reforms that are being implemented in our country and in which the Pre-school teacher is a key piece. Based on the research carried out, we confirm that the level of English which students have when they arrived at the teaching schools is much lower than what was proposed in the curricula programs, and the teacher has to make adjustments to these programs.
