Estimation of economic safety of industrial enterprises: methodical aspects

Abstract
The development and implementation of each decision in the field of economic security of an enterprise should be based on the results of assessing the actual level of safety. Reliability, completeness, timeliness and complexity of the information soil ensures the timely implementation of protective measures. The available methodological approaches to assessing the economic security of enterprises are characterized by a number of shortcomings that make their practical application difficult. The proposed approach allows partially eliminating a number of obstacles and is aimed at obtaining qualitative information on the level of economic security of enterprises in the oil and gas, machine-building and food industries, taking into account the specifics of their economic activities. The result of the assessment is information on the level of security in the context of individual indicators, functional components and an integrated indicator, contributes to the development of operational, tactical and strategic decisions by security subjects.
