ESTIMATION OF WATER QUALITY BY THE METHOD OF BIOINDICATION FOR SOME SOURCES IN KHARKOV

Abstract
Methods of bioindication are used to estimate the quality of the habitat and its individual indicators of state of organisms and biocenoses in natural conditions. Bioindicators - are species, groups of species or communities by different states of which, quality of water can be described. Among methods of analyzing of the ecological state of water bodies, the bioindication method is one of the most important. It is based on the ability of some kinds of pond-dwellers to indicate water quality by prevalence and development. Species composition and number of inhabitants of the reservoir depends on water properties.
