Estudo da produção científica em Gestão do Conhecimento e inovação identificada na Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações (BDTD)

Abstract

This article examines the scientific literature on Knowledge Management and Innovation, available in the Digital Library of Theses (BDTD) of the Brazilian Institute of Information on Science and Technology (IBICT) for the period January 2010-June 2011. Main features of Knowledge Management and Innovation are presented. Through a search of literature and document, from an amount of 35,965 documents, 25 were identified (including theses), containing the pre-defined criteria. The research variables were: approaches; graduation degrees in which they were conducted, and areas of concentration, areas of activity of the organizations surveyed, frequency of quotation of authors, and the nature of the studies. The conclusion is that studies on management and innovation of knowledge have been conducted under different approaches. Organizational Learning and Mental Models are prominent in the research within Knowledge Management; Innovation Process and Radical Innovation are prominent within Innovation approaches. As for graduate degrees, 21 dissertations and four theses were found. Among concentration areas, Administration is the most prominent, with eight (32%) of total searches. Areas of activity were identified, indicating that Innovation, and Knowledge Management apply to several areas. The most often quoted authors were Nonaka, Davenport, Earth, Prusak and Takeuchi. In analyzing the nature of the studies, they were divided into theoretical and practical studies.
