ETHOS, LOGOS, PATHOS AS BASIC MODS OF ANCIENT TIMES

Abstract
Judicial rhetoric in the ancient era is formed as one of the types of classical eloquence. The totality of used rhetorical techniques in the times of Ancient Greece and Ancient Rome was generally determined by the sociopolitical system, which provided for a certain character of the judicial system and forensic rhetoric. Historical intelligence shows that structure, a set of rhetorical means, content included as obligatory rhetorical mods ethos, pathos and logos. The democratic structure of society is a fundamental prerequisite and a driving force in the development of rhetorical art. In turn, the level of development of a public word serves as a unique marker of the democratic nature of social relations.
