ÉTUDE CONTASTIVE DE QUELQUES VALEURS
STYLISTIQUES DU PRONOM ALLOCUTIF TU
EN FRANÇAIS ET EN TURC
Journal Title: The Journal of International Social Research - Year 2008, Vol 1, Issue 2
Abstract
The pronominal allocutive values represent some parts of the social life in a precise historical period. The spoken language is much more spontaneous, more natural and more free than the written language, which means that it is more expressive and more affective. Its expressivity can result exactly from the change of the use provided by the tradition. The personal pronoun « tu » (you) in French, as an allocutive pronoun, acquires new stylistic values in French and in Turkish ; and this article aims to represent some of them, such as the use of mystical, familiar, intimate, mutual, general and religious « tu » .
