Eucharystia i miłość posługi
Journal Title: Studia Salvatoriana Polonica - Year 2016, Vol 10, Issue
Abstract
Creating Love has reached its perfection and has found its fulfilment in the paschal gift of the Risen Son, and in sending of the Paraclete to the community of the Church. The Eucharist is the unique sacrament of this Love inscribed in the history of salvation. The Eucharist is the epitome of one’s resemblance to Christ according to the Spirit’s law and allows us to experience what God’s love is. The Eucharist is the bread and drink to us – the pilgrims. It gives us the strength to live not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. In the Eucharist Christ’s body is given up for the redemption of many. God loves everyone in the Eucharist and through the Eucharist He gives graces for attaining salvation. Life for the glory of God means life in love with God. This vertical caritas should find its expression in our interaction with our brothers and sisters, especially the little ones. Christ shows us through His cross, how far the Divine Mercy reaches. This foolishness of love was very well understood by the martyrs. This life’s dynamics of caritas and the Eucharist are intrinsically connected. We cannot single out one of these loves without losing the other. What stems from these dynamics is the evangelizing witness to the people of today’s world.
