European Union’s energy policy in the context of entities’ energy

Abstract
Analysed energy policy development of EU countries. Discovered priorities and determined EU’s energy policy prospects. It is necessary to carry the number of the priority directions of EU countries energy policy development: diversification of supply sources of oil and gas, for increasing in level of EU energy security; systematic growth of energy efficiency level. In the EU consider energy efficiency as reduction possibility of energy dependence and harmful emissions in the atmosphere and as need for of technological achievements development and economic competitiveness of the European companies; a growth in electricity consumption volumes received from renewable energy resources in general energy consumption; liberalization of the local energy market.
