EVALUATION OF ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTS OF FIRST-GRADERS: PSYCHOLOGICAL ASPECTS

Abstract
This article is devoted to the psychological aspects of evaluation of academic achievements in primary school age. Іt expands the main evaluation function as control, motivation and development. Attention is drawn to the need of considering mental tumors of children in the transition from preschool to primary school. The article describes attempt how to use verbal expanded evaluation in teaching English to first- grades. As additional playing techniques used graphical tools in visualization of verbal assessments that prepare students for minimized forms of assessment.
