EVALUATION OF CORPORATE GOVERNANCE WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF NEOLIBERAL CRISIS

Abstract
Neoliberal politics, take effecting in whole world since 1980s, caused important changes in a lot of fields from economics to finance. The wave of change that coming with neoliberalism has caused many discussions. Macroeconomic unstabilities and financial crisis, experianced especially neoliberal period in all of the world, have triggered these discussions. When the financial crisis that has seen in neoliberal period have examinated, irregular, liberal and assemble financial markets that coming with the neoliberalism have indicated as one of the main causes to reveal these crisis. At this point, financial markets, which may occur due to the desire of more profit and can harm the whole society has emerged the concept of corporate governance in order to keep disturbances under control. But the recent global financial crisis in 2008 also showed that corporate governance is insufficient to resolve irregularities in the financial markets. Therefore, in this study, impact on the crises of neoliberal policies and its failure to prevent the formation of these crises, based on the financial crises experiancing during the neoliberal period, tried to put forward over the failure of corporate governance.
