Evaluation of determinants of innovation in agricultural producer groups

Abstract
The aim of the article was to assess the climate for innovative farms affiliates. The study was conducted using a questionnaire survey in three groups of agricultural producers (two co-operatives and company), operating in the pig and fruit of the Podkarpackie voivode. Takes into account the characteristics defining the climate of innovation, such as selfesteem (satisfaction index), the effects of collaboration, attitudes that block the development of groups, leadership qualities. The analysis enabled the quantitative and qualitative assess the climate in the context of friendship”, knowledge, communication in groups. The results show the need for measures to enhance innovation, organizational groups, such as training in communication and change management style. An important role should be entrusted to the leader, who may affect the involvement of members of groups in the creation of innovation, but also bring out of their potential for innovation, such as emphasizing individual achievement.
