EVALUATION OF DYNAMIC CHARACTERISTICS OF THE FOOTBRIDGE WITH INTEGRAL ABUTMENTS
Journal Title: Civil and Environmental Engineering Reports - Year 2017, Vol 3, Issue 26
Abstract
The paper presents the results of dynamic field tests and numerical analysis of the footbridge designed as a three-span composite structure with integral abutments. The adopted design solution which has allowed to achieve a high resistance of the structure to dynamic loads and to meet the requirements of the criteria of comfort of use with a large reserve has been characterized. For comparative purposes, numerical analyzes of three construction variants of the footbridge were presented: F-1 - construction with integral abutments (realized variant), F-2 - construction with girders anchored in the abutments by means of tension rocker bearings, F-3 - construction with concrete side spans.

Non-stationary heat transfer in two-phase hollow cylinder with functionally graded effective material properties with second kind of boundary conditions
The unidirectional non-stationary heat conduction in two-phase hollow cylinder is considered. The conductor is made of two-phase stratified composites and has a smooth gradation of effective properties in the radial dire...
PLASTICITY AND SWELL-SHRINK BEHAVIOUR OF ELECTROKINETICALLY STABILIZED VIRGIN EXPANSIVE SOIL USING CALCIUM HYDROXIDE AND CALCIUM CHLORIDE SOLUTIONS AS CATIONIC FLUIDS
This investigation focussed on the plasticity and swell-shrink behaviour of an expansive soil that was stabilized using electro kinetic stabilization (EKS) techniques with cationic fluids for enhancement of stabilization...

Flood risk of lower silesia voivodship
Floods are natural events of a random nature that cause damage in property, agriculture, and industry. Floods in the upper and middle Odra basin, particularly on a large scale, are characterized by their specificity of a...
THE EFFECTIVENESS OF ORGANIC POLLUTANTS REMOVAL IN CONSTRUCTED WETLAND WITH HORIZONTAL SUB-SURFACE FLOW
This paper presents the results of the research work related to the removal efficiency from wastewater organic pollutants and suspended solids at HSSF (horizontal subsurface flow) construcred wetland. The average effecti...
