EVALUATION OF MOBBING PERCEPTION IN TERMS OF DEMOGRAPHIC FEATURES: A STUDY ON STUDENTS STUDYING IN HUMAN RESOURCES PROGRAM.

Abstract
Mobbing can be explained as a systematic consequence of behaviors such as intimidation and supression among employees. Mobbing is more likely to occur in organizations with a high number of employees. Mobbing entered into literature in the 1980s and it specifically targets newly started and successful individuals, so this situation should be cared by the organization. Therefore; the Human Resources Department needs to take the first precaution in case of mobbing between employees in the organizations. The aim of this study is to reveal the mobbing perceptions of individuals who studies human resources at the level of master's degree. These individuals have a key role in coping with the organizational mobbing problem, so these individuals need to perceive mobbing correctly and develop reflexes or preventive measures in the human resource units that they serve. According to research findings, it was observed that participants did not participate at the same level to the actions and behaviors considered as mobbing. This means that there is no homogeneous view. Non-homogeneous views were not found to be relevant to gender, age, duration of work and administrative duties. It is thought that these differences of opinion may be due to the fact that the concept of mobbing does not settle sufficiently in memories
