EVALUATION OF THE INFLUENCE OF NATURAL AND ANTHROPOGENIC FACTORS ON DESERTIFICATION OF THE OF THE ABSHERON PENINSULA IN AZERBAIJAN REPUBLIC
Journal Title: Український географічний журнал - Year 2018, Vol 2, Issue
Abstract
The article defines and examines the main factors that influence the processes of desertification on the Absheron Peninsula - natural , including greenhouse gases, and anthropogenic. Anthropogenic impact is determined by population density, deforestation, irrational use of agricultural land, unregulated grazing of livestock, contamination of oil and gas industry objects, etc. The purpose of this study is to develop mathematical modeling. The method of mathematical modeling, developed under the guidance of prof. B.G Aliyev was applied to evaluate the influence of natural and anthropogenic factors on the process of desertification, their relationship. The main, but not the only criterion used in the article to choose the methods of this study, is their ability to indicate the conditions for providing soil moisture during the growing season.
